- analysis of dynamic phenomena that occur in foundations and supporting structures for machines,
- solutions to problems in the field of the stochastic dynamics of various engineering structures,
- sensitivity analysis and the problem of parametric vibrations in vibration issues of engineering structures,
- developing methods for the dynamic identification of the parameters of airports, roads and railway pavement models,
- reduction of vibrations of poorly damped engineering structures using dynamic absorbers,
- development of methods for the numerical integration of equations of motion.
- modern technologies for the rehabilitation and construction of network infrastructure (sewage, water and gas) - in particular trenchless technologies;
- computer-aided design of network infrastructure;
- methods of the inspection, description and assessment of the condition of sewage pipes, strategies for operation and technical rehabilitation, network databases;
- new and existing municipal construction facilities (e.g. tanks and other structures of sewage treatment plants and water treatment plants, collectors and underground pipelines, network facilities, multi-duct tunnels);
- new and existing underground construction facilities in cities (parking lots and underground garages, pedestrian crossings, passages, communication tunnels, subways);
- repair and protection of existing underground facilities – including their structures, insulation and seals;

- Multiwavelets and multiwavelet packages in structural mechanics. The use of fuzzy sets in the analysis of a structure’s safety. Cellular automata in structural analysis.
- Variational iterative methods in structural mechanics.
